This page explains the cookies Brightano uses. It describes what the site actually does today, not what an online shop might do in general.
The short version
We use strictly necessary cookies only. We run no analytics, no advertising or marketing tags, no social media pixels and no affiliate tracking. We do not sell or share browsing data. Simply opening and reading this website sets no cookies at all.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, EU law does not require us to ask your permission before setting them. Where that changes, so will this page — see “If that ever changes” below.
What actually gets set, and when
Nothing is stored until you do something that needs it:

All of these are first-party cookies, set by this website. None of them profile you, follow you to other sites, or feed advertising.
Third parties
The website loads no third-party scripts, fonts, tags or embeds. Fonts are served from our own server precisely so that no request — and therefore no IP address — is sent to another company when you open a page.
Two exceptions apply when you actively use a service:
- Payment. When you pay, you are handed to our payment provider’s secure form. They set their own cookies under their own policy, and card details never reach our servers.
- Delivery. Tracking links take you to the carrier’s own website, which has its own cookie policy.
Managing or clearing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time — every major browser has this under Privacy or Site data. Blocking the cookies above will stop the basket, login and checkout from working, because they are what make those features possible.
If that ever changes
If we later add analytics, advertising or any other non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent before setting it, through a banner that lets you accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by purpose — and withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it. This page will be updated at the same time.
